Last year's Ducati 848 Challenge Champion Leon Morris will move into the Metzeler National Superstock 1000 series this season and race a Ducati 1199 Panigale under the John Hackett Performance banner.

Morris had to fight off stiff competition from veteran Mike Edwards in the 2011 Challenge while Darren Fry, also a front runner in last year's series, will return to the fray on a JHP-backed 848.

"This is a dream ride; racing a Ducati with JHP Racing is a real privilege, John and the team always put the best package together so I couldn't ask for a better opportunity. I'm raring to go and looking forward to pre-season testing, everybody is talking about this new Ducati and with so much interest I want to do the best I can for the team and Ducati," said Morris.
