Sam Walker had blown off his cobwebs to power himself to victory in the Superbikes and Powerbikes plus he now heads both championships.
Mike Walker senior led the Superbikes until his brakes failed going into Country Corner hitting the grass. Sam had by this time seen off Josh Daley to cross the line ahead by nearly two seconds.
Walker Jnr led the Powerbikes for the seven laps chased first by Curtis Rothwell but Walker senior after shaking off Greg Lewis, then took on Daley and Rothwell to close down the gap by less than a second.
Lewis did win his battle in the Pre-injection from Chris Roberts by a third of a second.
Dave Edwards and Terry Kermode both had a wakeup call in the 250 classic points race. Young Loris Hunt went inside both at the same time at Country. Edwards opened the throttle and although did close down the gap, not enough to take the win.
