Ryan Cringle made the best possible start to the Isle of Man's domestic road race season with four straight wins at Jurby Motodrome on Sunday.

In good conditions, he rode his Kawasaki ZX6 to four wins out of four, despite a determined challenge throughout from Callum Collister.

The margin between the two was 1.9 seconds in the opening Centre championship race, while Collister was a whole second closer in the other.

It was a similar story in the 600cc races.

Undoubted stars of the day were Dave Molynuex and Ben Binns who qualified faster than all of the solos first time out on their new Suzuki outfit.

Molyneux and Binns were well clear of their rivals in the three sidecar races and within half-a-second of the top two solos on corrected timing.

The closest battle of the day was the nailbiting contest between the 650 twins of Derran Slous and Andy Dudgeon, although Dean Osborne also joined the party in a couple of races.

Brendan Fargher won both of the clubman races by a reasonably comfortable margin from Marc Colvin.
