Ellesmere Port rider Jenny Tinmouth took both the www.bikesportnews.com/ThundersportGB Ladies’ Race trophies at Brands Hatch this weekend - and lifted Sunday’s Supersport 600 race win too.
Jenny, who is currently competing in the British Supersport Championship on a Honda, was a late entry in the Thundersport meeting, but came away a very happy lady.
She said: "Yes, it was a great weekend all round, and it was nice to see all the girls racing together.
"I didn’t know how close Gary [May] was in the Supersport race. I jusy heard him and thought ‘oh, right then’ and that was it. Really enjoyed myself."
Susie Grayson, of Feisty Racing, took a second in Saturday’s Ladies Race but crashed out unhurt yesterday. She said: "I was happy that I got down to 50.1s laps and it was nice to come second. Not sure what we are going to do about Jenny though, she’s a bit special."
Grayson’s team-mate Deb Cartwright got third in both races, and Sarah Jordan picked up second in race two.
Aprilia Superteen rider Stephanie Waddelow was due to take part, but highsided off her borrowed KRP Honda 125 at Clark Curve on Saturday and broke her arm. She was about in the pits for the remainder of the day, and was even helping with commentary during the first ladies race.
