Milwaukee Yamaha’s Michael Dunlop looks set to race at Donington Park this weekend after getting a grid slot in the Thundersport GP1 class.

The class, which is packed to the rafters, had a space available when Rory Parker hurt himself at Jurby so Dunlop was able to take up the spot.

It is thought that Dunlop will use the track time to further acquaint himself with the new R1 Superbike which team-mate Josh Brookes put on the podium at the Leicestershire track just two days ago.
