Manchester’s Adam Gittings is targeting a Bank Holiday to remember as he aims to rekindle positive memories at Snetterton this weekend.
The Norfolk track saw Gittings secure his first ever points in Thundersport GB 12 months ago. Now the 23-year-old from Hyde – who began this season with a fifth place finish at Brands Hatch - is hoping for similar success in the Pre-National Sport 600 Championship on Sunday and Monday.
Gittings, who is sponsored by leading builders merchant Selco Builders Warehouse, said: “I quite like Snetterton. It’s a nice, flowing circuit with a very long back straight and some tight corners so it’s important to get the suspension set-up and the gearing right.
“We will have a full day of testing on Saturday which will be the chance to get lots of laps in and make sure everything is spot on for qualifying and the races on Sunday and Monday.
“Last season, Snetterton gave us our first Thundersport points so that’s a very positive memory to feed off this weekend and hopefully we can have more success and improve on that.”
