Buildbase BMW's four-man team will all take part in the opening Mallory Park Buildbase Trophy on March 4 in an effort to get some laps under their belts before the British Superbike season starts over the Easter weekend.
Dan Linfoot and BSB team-mate Barry Burrell will be in attendance along with the team's National Superstock pairing of Steve Brogan and Howie-Mainwaring-Smart. However, regulars Phil Brooks, Mark Littler and reigning Champion John Ingram, among others, will be difficult for anyone to beat around the 1.39-mile track.
"What a start to the Mallory Buildbase Trophy for 2012 – one of the best elite teams in the British Superbike Championship racing for the first time this year. It is a professional team with fantastic riders but I expect they will not have everything their own way as some of the regular trophy racers are very quick – it will be a fascinating event," said Mallory boss John Ward.
The Buildbase Mallory Park Trophy opening round is set to kick off motorcycle racing at Mallory Park in 2012. Tickets cost £13 on the gate or £11 in advance with under 14s free of charge with a paying adult.
