The traditional, annual Parade of Racing Exotica at Tonfanau will ironically be headed this year by a rider who is very much the man of the moment, John McGuinness.
McGuinness, now winner of 23 Isle of Man TTs and the holder of the new lap record round the Mountain circuit of 132.701mph, will ride one of the Phil Morris stable of exotic machines.
He will be joined amongst others, by Stan Woods on a RG500 Suzuki, Charlie Williams riding a 350 Maxton Yamaha and Nick Jefferies on board a 750 RC30 Honda.
Nearly 40 wonderful machines, ridden by big names from the past and present will be in action. Former Honda factory racer, Tommy Robb, with give the parade a miss and instead provide his usual, informative commentary.
In addition to all that the meeting includes the third round of the Crewe and South Cheshire club’s four-meeting championship at the Welsh seaside circuit.
Practice starts at 9.0am with the 21-race programme underway at noon.
