Schwantz and Mamola to ride at Mallory's Festival of 1000 Bikes

MotoGP legends Kevin Schwantz and Randy Mamola will take part in this year's Festival of 1000 Bikes to be held at Mallory Park in July.

Schwantz, the 1993 World Champion, and Mamola, the best rider never to win the 500cc title, will be in attendance on Past Masters Sunday with the Texan racing a works RGV500 and the Californian on his original Suzuki GP bike, the XR31 M1.

“Mallory Park was where I first raced a 500cc GP two-stroke, it was not a GP, but it was the first time I actually competed on a 500, thanks to my late friend Barry Sheene. It will be interesting to ride at Mallory Park after so many years," said Schwantz.
