Around £600 has been raised for the CJ Riders Fund and the Royal Marines Benevolent Fund during a charity night, raffle and general drink-up in the Cambrideshire village of Sawtry.
Organised by local girls George Usher, Natasha Weavers and Liza Smith, around 200 people crammed themselves into the Sawtry Ex-Servicemen's and Working Men's Club in order to raise money for the two charities.
"It was a good turn out and people really enjoyed themselves. We raised quite a bit of money for a small event," said Miss Usher, who is not to be confused with the rapper of the same name. "People gave very generously in the the raffle and it's nice to say we have done our bit. Thanks to everyone for coming and making it a success."
