A charity auction starring British Superbike rider Gary Mason hopes to raise cash for the CJ Riders Fund and for the Royal Marines Children's Fund.
Organised by the Royal Marines team that is carrying out a 1500-mile sponsored row for both charities (click here for details), Mason is the guest star and will help to auction a pile of money-can't-buy prizes including:
A pilion ride with James Ellison on the Hydrex Honda
Two VIP passes with hospitality for the Silverstone BSB round courtesy HM Plant Honda
A free day at the Ron Haslam Race School
Signed race team clothing including kit from HM Plant Honda, Rizla Suzuki and Airwaves Ducati
The auction, which includes a barbecue and some locals making fools of themselves (always good value when it isn't you) takes place at 8pm, Saturday, August 2 at the Sawtry Ex-Serviceman's Club, Sawtry, Cambridgeshire.
