2014 Ulster GP: Webb suffers multiple fractures

Former Moto3 grand prix star Danny Webb suffered multiple fractures in a crash during qualifying for the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix yesterday but his injuries are said not be non-life threatening.

The Kent youngster fell at the high-speed Joey’s Windmill section of the Dundrod course and was taken to hospital. He is said to be ok and talking more, and is due to be moved into a ward today.

French rider Pierre Favre also crashed yesterday. He is in a critical condition at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast after his spill in the Lightweight/Ultra-Lightweight race.
