2015 Ulster Grand Prix dates released

Dates for next year’s Ulster Grand Prix have been released with the event taking place between August 3-8 to prevent a clash with the Manx Grand Prix.

Main events are practice sessions on Wednesday 5th August, the Dundrod 150 national road races on Thursday 6th August and the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix on Saturday 8th August, while there will also be a host of entertainment and family activities on offer throughout the week.

“There will a lot of riders hoping to claim the title of the world’s fastest road racer in 2015, I certainly didn’t expect Bruce Anstey’s record to last this long,” said clerk of the course Noel Johnston.

“It’s great to be able to confirm the dates for next year’s racing. We’ve already had a lot of enquiries about the 2015 races and this early announcement will ensure that fans and competitors can start planning ahead.

“We’ve moved racing forward to accommodate the Manx Grand Prix which will make it easier for even more riders to come and compete. By the time Bike Week comes around you can be sure that we will once again have a world class line up of road racers on the grid.”
