Dean Harrison comes into the 2023 Isle of Man TT seeking a return to winning ways as he prepares to start as one of the favourites in the Superbike, Superstock and Supersport categories.
The Cumbria-based rider was victorious in the 2019 Senior TT but had to settle for the runners-up spot to the dominant Peter Hickman upon the return to the Manx Island last year in both the Superstock and Superbike TT races.
After a solid start to his BSB campaign and a competitive performance at the 2023 North West 200, Harrison is raring to go on the upgraded DAO Kawasaki ZX-10RR, while he also leads the Kawasaki challenge in the Supersport category.
“It goes without saying that this is our biggest event of the year and of course we’re all looking forward to it," Harrison said. "I feel like we’re all in a really good place and we’re ready to hit the ground running.
“We had three podiums at the North West 200 a few weeks ago and the bike was fantastic so I’m looking forward to putting what we learnt out there into practice at the TT.
“I’m obviously aiming for the podium at the very least but of course we’ll be trying for the win. I think the Superbike is the best it’s ever been, we’ve had some upgrades this year so hopefully, we should see this in our results.
“I’m ready to go, I’m looking forward to it so let’s just get out there and see what we can do.”
