The starting order for the blue riband Superbike, Superstock and Senior TT races at the 2024 Isle of Man TT have been announced with road racing legend John McGuinness confirmed to lead the field down Bray Hill once more.

The 23-time TT race winner will wear the coveted No.1 plate in all four races - two Superstock, plus the Superbike race and Senior TT finale - as part of Honda Racing UK's three-strong rider line-up for this year's festival.

He is joined by 2019 Senior TT winner Dean Harrison, who will look to make the gains he needs to get on terms with pre-event favourites Peter Hickman and Michael Dunlop, the pair having shared four wins apiece across the fortnight in 2023. Up-and-comer Nathan Harrison, who won't start among the top twenty, completes Honda's effort.

As for Hickman, he will once again rely on BMW M 1000 RR machinery as part of the Monster Energy BMW by FHO Racing team, the Louth rider keen to pick up where he left off from his lap record smashing performance in last year's Senior TT.

Dunlop, meanwhile, will be the sixth rider to set off though is conspicuous in not having confirmed which team or motorcycle he will compete with. Last year he enjoyed race-winning success on the Hawk Racing Honda CBR1000RR-R, pushing him to just one victory shy of his TT win record-holding uncle, Joey Dunlop.

Changes among the seeded line-up include Ian Hutchinson's return to the Milenco by Padgett's Honda team he achieved his benchmark five wins back in 2010. Set to be partnered with Conor Cummins, it will represent his first TT outing since 2022 after a stroke forced him to sit out last year's event.

Meanwhile, his predecessor at Padgett's, Davey Todd, will line-up on a BMW M 1000 RR as part of the TAS Racing-prepared Milwaukee BMW Motorrad team, while Lee Johnston - returning from a long period out through injury - will switch from Yamaha to Honda machinery as part of the Ashcourt Racing team.

Elsewhere, Jamie Coward sticks with the KTS Racing powered by Steadplan team on his Honda, double BSB champion Josh Brookes will again partner Hickman at Monster Energy BMW by FHO Racing and James Hillier will compete under the WTF Racing banner on Honda machinery.
