Southern ‘100’ Racing, organisers of the three road race meetings held on the Billown Course in the south of the Isle of Man each year are pleased to confirm the dates of the events for 2009.

As in past years the ‘south side course’ has the honour of opening and closing the annual TT Festival, with two of the three road race meetings taking place either side of the races on the TT Course.

The Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races gets the action underway on Friday 29th May with the first of two practice sessions. Saturday 30th May concludes the practice, before racing commences on Monday 1st June 2009.

The Steam Packet Billown TT Races take place on Saturday 13th June.

Finally, the premier event of the year on the 4.25-mile Billown Course, the Steam Packet International Southern ‘100’ Road Races take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 13th, 14th, 15th & 16th July 2009.
