Carrying on from his success at last year’s Cookstown 100 when he had a double win, Dublin’s Derek Sheils man posted the fastest time to claim pole for the bike race tomorrow.

Michael Dunlop on his first roads outing on the Milwaukee Yamaha R1M finished second quickest and Derek McGee on his Wilson Craig Honda was third fastest. Tyco BMW pairing Guy Martin and William Dunlop qualified in fifth and tenth respectively.
