Dundrod 150: Farquhar wins Supertwins; Dunlop takes 125GP

Ryan Farquhar dominated the Supertwins race, leading from start to finish in a race which was red flagged after Paul Jordan crashed out at Cochranstown in the concurrently run 125cc encounter.

Farquhar grabbed the holeshot on his KMR Kawasaki and had opened up a 4.5s lead at the end of lap one, a lead that had shot up to over 11 seconds at half race distance. The battle for second kept everyone on their toes though with Russ Mountford holding onto the place in the early stages before being overhauled by Jamie Hamilton and Adrian Archibald. Hamilton was 1.5s clear of Archibald at the end of lap three but the experienced Archibald was reeling the youngster in when the red flag came out.

William Davison crashed out of fourth at Leathemstown on lap two and it was Mountford, Lee Vernon and Davy Morgan who completed the top six.

In the 125s, William Dunlop and Sam Wilson couldn't be separated after two laps with the latter leading but Dunlop put the hammer down on lap three and a lap of 112mph+ saw him over three seconds clear before the race ended prematurely. Olie Linsdell took third ahead of Paul Robinson and Nigel Moore.
