Dunlop brothers dominant at Skerries 100

William and Michael Dunlop notched up two wins each at the Skerries 100 Road Races. William taking the wins in both the supersport 600 race and the 250 race which he started at the back of the pack but he quickly made back the ground to take the win from Davy Morgan, he also led the first lap of the 125 race but pulled in with mechanical problems.

Brother Michael won the Open race and the Grand Final setting a new lap record on his way to victory in the Grand Final. Both races Derek Sheils took the early lead from Michael but on each occasion he took the lead in the latter stages of the race to take the victories.

The Supersport 600 race was a close fought battle between the bothers, Michael leading for the first few laps before William took to the front beating his younger brother across the line by only half a second.

Jamie Hamilton won the rerun Supertwins race from start to finish followed very closely by Michael Sweeney, Andy Farrell and William Davison.
