Honda Legends new-boy Michael Dunlop says he is happy with his first set of tests with the new Superbike despite having mixed weather at Albacete.
The Ulsterman spent a couple of days at Mireval before moving to the official Dunlop test at the Spanish track and reckoned he has found a good initial setup before the next set of tests at Castle Combe.
"This has been my first time out on the bike and it feels good. We came here expecting dry weather but it’s rained a lot so that’s hindered progress, but at the end of day it’s just good to be here with my mechanics Adrian and Graeme and get a feel for the bike. The set-up is good so far and we’ve been able to get a few dry laps in. I’m looking forward to getting back on the bike at Castle Combe so we can finish what we’ve started here," said Dunlop.
