Michael Dunlop has today announced he will take the Honda Legends Fireblade on which he won the Superbike TT to the Ulster Grand Prix in August.
Dunlop, who will go to the last Irish international of the year after winning four TT races in a row, has been given special dispensation to race the bike by team boss Neil Tuxworth but will champion his own Hondas in the Superstock and Supersport events.
“I’m looking forward to racing at the Ulster on the Honda TT Legends superbike,” 24 year old Dunlop confirmed. “We’ve done a lot of work on the bike during the NW200 and the TT and we’re in a good position now.
“It rode lovely at the TT and we obviously brought home a win there so it would be good to do the same at the Ulster.”
The Ulster Grand Prix takes place between August 12-17 at Dunrod.
