Although Tim Reeves and Greg Cluze lifted the World F2 Trophy and another World Sidecar title in 2014, they have been beaten into second place for the bikesportnews.com Sidecar Team of the Year crown, voted for by our readers, by Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott.

Harrison and Aylott took their first ever Isle of Man TT victory in the first Sure Sidecar race at this year’s festival, beating John Holden and Robert Winkle into second place while Reeves and Cluze were third.

In the reader vote, Reeves and Cluze took and early lead but Harrison and Aylott make a late surge to bag 31.15 per cent of the vote for first place. Reeves and Cluze were next with 18.80 per cent while Tom and Ben Birchall were third with 12.07 per cent.

British F1 Champions Sean Hegarty and James Neave came fourth with 8.76 per cent while Dave Molyneux and Pat Farrance edged out Ian and Carl Bell for fifth.
