Bradford roads specialist Dean Harrison has joined Silicone Engineering Racing for a 2016 assault on the Isle of Man TT after splitting with Mar-Train Yamaha squad a couple of weeks ago.
Harrison will campaign at the TT, international road races and selected British Superbike events with the Lancashire-based outfit run by ex-GP rider Paul Iddon, and is excited to get started although a manufacturer has not yet been confirmed.
“As soon as I met Paul and the rest of the team and saw the set-up, I knew it was a great opportunity to join a team on the up,” said Harrison.
“The flexibility of how the team is run was another plus for me as I can really have an influence on key decisions on the bike, which I believe will take me to greater levels and hopefully bring success to the team.”
