National Superstock rider Steve Heneghan will make his TT debut at this year's festival in all four of the four-stroke classes and he will also compete at other major road races.
The 27-year-old rider from Harrow was one of the few racers picked by the Isle of Man TT recruitment program. They approached Heneghan last season, offering him the chance to take part in one of the most historically challenging races in the world.
“I have always wanted to race in the TT, and when I got offered the chance I simply couldn’t passp on it. I really can’t wait for the 2009 season to start, and along with some other great news about the team, it looks to be a brilliant year," he said.
Heneghan has already spent time on the island, where he is learning the 37.7 mile circuit on road bikes and bicycles in his training for the multitude of races that he will compete in at the end of May.
He will ride the Quattro Plant Hoinda Fireblade in the Superstock, Superbike and Senior races and a Centurion Racing-tuned CBR600 in the Junior Supersport race.
