HONDA BOSS APPEALS FOR RETURN OF MCGUINNESS' TT CHAIN

HM Plant Honda team boss Havier Beltran is appealing for the return of the chain that broke on John McGuinness' Fireblade during the fourth lap of this year's Senior TT.

The chain snapped as McGuinness was on the approach to Ramsey and by the time he had stopped and parked his bike, someone had swiped the chain from the side of the road.

"We need the chain to send it back to the manufacturer to find out why it failed. As soon as it has been analysed, whoever bagged it from the side of the road can probably have it back," said Beltran.
