Milwaukee Yamaha's Ian Hutchinson will take part in this year's Macau Grand Prix after bagging a late entry to the season ending road race.
The Bingley rider, who has been out with injury for what seems like a lifetime, will do a one-day test at Donington Park before moving out for Spain for another test ahead of the prestigious 2013 finale.
"Ian has had a hell of a time recovering from his accident all that time ago. We want him to go to Macau fully ready so there is plenty of testing planned to give him all he needs to make sure he has all the tools," said team owner Shaun Muir, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning.
"He will fly straight to Macau from the Spain test and I suppose his 2014 season will start there. I have a lot of faith in Ian and this will be the return he needs to boost his confidence over the winter."
