Returning road legend Keith Amor believes he can still mix it up with the front runners at this year’s Vauxhall North West 200 despite having a four-year break from competition and being well into his 40s.
The Scotsman, who now runs his own enduro holiday business in Cyprus, will be back on track at the first international in May after a warm-up at Tandragee and is looking forward to it.
“The last time I was at Portrush in 2010 I won the Superstock race and set a 600cc lap record that still stands today. I was at the sharp end then and although it might be a bit of a big ask to get back there after four years away I think I can still mix it up with the boys at the front,” said Amor.
