Road Racing | IRISH SUPERBIKE CHAMPION PAYS TRIBUTE TO MARTIN FINNEGAN

The team of Irish Superbike Champion Michael Pearson have paid tribute to road racer Martin Finnegan, who was tragically killed yesterday.
In a statement, they said: "The Members of the Michael Pearson Racing Supporters Club, along with the Racing Team, would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of our good friend Martin Finnegan, who passed away at Saturday’s Tandragee 100.

"Having known Martin for some considerable time, and with his close links with us all on and off the track, we have been left devastated by his untimely demise.

"It was a pleasure to have known this giant of a man, who touched us all with his exploits both on the track, and in his spare time were he was always willing to give advise and help at the drop of a hat.

"To his family and close friends, we send our sincere condolences at this difficult time."
