Today’s Kells Road Races were abandoned after a tragic accident which claimed the life of Jack Oliver.
The 22-year-old from Limivady, Northern Ireland, was involved in an incident during the Supersport race as he negotiated the jumps on the Crossakiel circuit. The race was immediately red-flagged but sadly Jack succumbed to his injuries.
A hot prospect in road racing with a big future in the sport, earlier in the meeting he took a second place finish in the Junior Support race and a tenth place finish in the senior race.
Earlier in the season Jack had his first road racing win at the Cookstown 100 winning the senior support race.
