Kells Road Races have been cancelled for 2018 due to 'unforseen circumstances' ,say organising club North Meath.
The races were due to take place on June 23-24 but problems with developments on the circuit have led to access for certain spectator areas being denied - an issue the club hopes to resolve for next year.
An annual Classic Parade is still on the schedule, starting at the Railway Bar. The club has said it will refund all monies donated so far.
It is the second year in succession the races have not been run with insurance premiums the problem in 2017
