Northern Irish star Lee Johnston has confirmed he will return to the Isle of Man TT next season with his existing Millsport Ducati team, riding the 1199 Panigale.
Johnston joined the squad at the start of this year as the start of a new project for both team and rider which resulted in a win at the North West 200, where he will once again race in 2013, and a second place at Donington Park's Metzeler National Superstock 1000 round. He was beaten to top spot by only 0.001s by PJ Jacobsen and will also compete in that championship.
“It’s great to have next year’s deal done as the team and I have proved to be a package that can push for the top step. This year has been a learning year for us with the new bikes, but we are going in the right direction and with a testing programme through the winter planned we should be on the mark come the first round of the championship," said Johnston.
