Guy Martin and Dean Harrison have both confirmed their entries to this year’s expanded Scarborough Spring Cup, which will take place over two days instead of the usual one starting on April 11.

Harrison will be on his factory-backed Mar-Train Yamahas but will have to contend James Cowton with his new team Danny Tomlinson Racing and Martin.

“After many discussions with (Scarborough boss) Peter Hillaby, Guy Martin confirmed whilst in the Isle of Man at the Southern 100 Press launch, that he would definitely be at the Spring Cup riding the BMW for the first time,” said a spokesman.

“It is also looking likely that Guy will be at the Barry Sheene meeting in June and the Gold Cup in September.”
