TT legend John McGuinness will compete in both HM Plant and Padgett's colours as this year's NorthWest 200 and Isle of Man events - as well as running in National Superstock alongside new team-mate Steve Brogan.

The Morecambe man will do the NorthWest on HM Plant bikes and all of the TT in the same colours apart from the Superstock TT, when he will be on a Padgetts Fireblade.

“Riding for both HM Plant Honda and also Padgett’s worked well for me for last year and continuing with both of those relationships can only be a good thing for Honda’s and my racing competitiveness in 2009," he said.

"I’m looking forward to being team-mates with Brogie and I’m feeling totally ready to challenge him for his championship title as well as try and add to my road racing victories at the North West 200 and the TT.”
