MLav Racing will expand their reach into Road Racing for the 2025 season.
During MotoGP Free Practice One at the Argentine Grand Prix it was announced that Michael Laverty will enter his MLav Racing squad into the 2025 Isle of Man TT and North West 200.
There will be an official announcement in a few weeks, but Neil Hodgson let it slip early whilst live on air.
Laverty will run BMW machinery during the two road racing events and will have Ian Hutchinson and Mike Browne on his machines.
"We are putting a team in the Isle of Man TT and the North West 200 this year," Laverty said on TNT Sports.
"We will have a couple of quality riders on board... it will be Ian Hutchinson and Irish rider Mike Browne. So, we will hopefully be officially announcing it in the next week or so.
"We will be on BMW powered machinery, I am working on the livery at the moment and one of the deadlines is today for RST to leathers to produce the suits in time for testing."
Hutchinson has 17 Isle of Man TT victories to his name, with his last victory coming in 2017 during the Superstock TT. The 45-year-old made his return to the TT in 2024 after missing the event in 2023 after suffering a stroke.
Browne has quickly become a name to watch at the TT, the Irish rider made his debut at the event back in 2019. Since then he has started 14 TT's and has stood on two podiums, both in the Supertwin TT.
