Bad weather on Mona’s Isle has forced the postponement of today’s Classic 350 and Formula One TT races leaving clerk of the course Phil Taubman with no option to try and run them tomorrow.

The Classic TT Lap of Honour has also been put back as has the Manx Grand Prix newcomers’ events.

“Early in the day, it was it was hoped that with the reasonable forecast for the morning it would be possible to go ahead with the Classic TT Lap of Honour and Okells 350cc race,” said a spokesman, but the weather worsened.

Revised schedule for Tuesday:

1130hrs - Roads close

1200hrs - Okells 350cc Race

1330hrs - Lap of Honour

1445hrs - Motorsport Merchandise F1/F2 Race.

1700hrs - Roads open

1800hrs - Roads close

1830hrs - IMGold Manx Grand Prix Newcomers race

Roads reopen no later than 2130hrs
