Tyco Suzuki boss Philip Neill has rubbished rumours that Guy Martin has split with te team just days before the 2012 Isle of Man TT is due to start.

The speculation spread because Martin did not race later in the afternoon on Saturday after his heavy, high-speed crash in the first Supersport race at the North West 200 where he banged his head and was subsequently kept out of the later action.

“I’ve heard the talk but there is absolutely no truth in it. Guy took a fairly big blow to the front of his helmet and there was black around his eyes. It would have been foolish to race,” said Neil.
