Riders Ducati man Martin Jessopp has set a new North West 200 top speed record of 208mph in the first Superbike practice session this lunchtime.

There is a tailwind on the way down to Coleraine which has pushed the not-small rider, who was racing in World Supersport on Sunday at Donington Park, past the current record of 204mph set by Stuart Easton in 2011. He also did it without a tow so anyone in his slipstream should be able to knock out 210mph...
