Davey Todd has been confirmed with Clive Padgett's squad for the 2022 roads season and says the Batley set-up is exactly what he was looking for.

Todd will do the international roads events - which begins with the Fonacab North West 200 in May - plus a full season in Pirelli National Superstock as it travels in the BSB series.

“The set-up for 2022 with Padgetts is exactly what I wanted to be doing with a full season in National Superstock and on the roads,” said the 26 year-old, who rode a Penz13.com S1000RR BMW during 2019.

“I never felt comfortable on the BMW. It didn’t suit me and I struggled with the bike. I felt comfortable straight away on the new bike. After the first couple of sessions I rode myself into the bike and was going a lot faster.”
