PEARSON CONFIRMS KILLALANE ENTRY

Irish Superbike Champion Michael Pearson today confirmed his entry for this years Killalane Road Races near Skerries in North County Dublin on September 13-14th, with Pearson excited about his first outing in the final Irish Road Race of the season.

Having competed in, and enjoyed the Kells Road Races in Co-Meath last month, Pearson is hopeful that the Killalane Road Races will be another positive feather in his cap for his future in the Irish Road Race Scene.

"I want to do this race as it is the week before the Gold Cup at Scarborough, and the competition at it will be more competitive than we had at the Cock Of The North in July," said Pearson.

"I need to build up my confidence and speed at these road events to further my quest in this quarter of the sport, so Killalane comes at the right time for me.   I am heading to Dundrod on Monday for the Ulster Grand Prix week, and I mean to give this meeting my best ever shot.
