Experienced TT sidecar driver Phil Dongworth was killed in a crash during last night's Southern 100 qualifying session. He was 43.

Mr Dongworth's outfit crashed at Ballanoris and he was airlifted to Nobles Hospital but later died from his injuries. Passenger Stuart Castles was also taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
