Today's Southern 100 races were cancelled due to rubbish weather. A spokesman said: "Initially the racing was delayed, but as the conditions worsened, the organisers decided to abandon the four scheduled races on safety grounds.
 
"Hopefully, Thursday's Race programme will be graced with better conditions and the programme will be able to go ahead as scheduled."
