Relentless Suzuki's Bruce Anstey has tonight become only the second rider in history to break the 130mph lap barrier at the Isle of Man TT, running John McGuinness's lap from last night very close in perfect conditions.
Kiwi Anstey banged in a 130.129 circuit on his second and final lap on the Superbike this evening as HM Plant Honda's McGuinness limped into the pits after one lap with a misfire and jumped straight onto his Supersport bike.
"The bike's nearly right now. I just need to do some work with the shock and it will be right but the bike is working really well now," said Anstey, just after he came in.
