British Supersport regular Jenny Tinmouth seriously upped her pace during Isle of Man TT practice last night, not only pushing through the magic 100mph barrier but managing 107.415 on her last lap.
The Ellesmore Port girl, who has concentrated on her sorrymate.com Supersport bike in the first practice sessions, is now just three miles an hour short of the qualifying lap speed.
"It was so much better last night and I am beginning to feel comfortable with the faster lap times. The bumpy bits just after Ginger Hall are now less bumpy, which is probably because I am going faster," said Tinmouth.
"I really want to crack the qualifying time for Supersport tonight and then get some laps in on the Fireblade and see what I can do on the big bike ahead of Saturday.
"I'm really enjoying riding here but am learning slowly but surely as that is the way to do it here. I have been told that several times now and I am sticking to it."
