An oil spill between Alpine and Kirkmichael has forced the cancellation of tonight's Isle of Mann TT practice after race direction and riders deemed it too dangerous to continue.

The sidecar teams went out for their session first after a spectator had to be airlifted away from Ginger Hall. There was an incident between two outfits at Brandywell and then the spill between Kirkmichael and Ballaugh forced the solo session to be cancelled. The roads will remain closed until it is cleared.
