Honda TT Legends rider Simon Andrews has suffered multiple fractures after he crashed on the first lap of the Superbike TT earlier today.
Andrews fell at the fast Les Graham Memorial corner, breaking his shoulder and wrist plus the ankle on his already damaged leg. He is awake and chatting to his crew chief, and has already received vists from Keith Amor and Neil Hodgson.
"It’s a huge shame for Simon that his TT is over but we are all pleased to hear that he is alert and chatting with his chief mechanic from hospital. We'll bring updates on his situation as we get them," said team manager Neil Tuxworth.
