Tyco Suzuki's Guy Martin has summed up his performance in today's Monster Suoersport race in typical style, saying he rode his bollocks off but some setup issues prevented another podium.
The forthright Linconshire rider ended up in sixth place behind Dean Harrison after Conor Cummins retired at Ginger Hall, while team-mate William Dunlop put in a late charge to end in fifth.
“I rode my bollocks off and did my best. The bike has plenty of speed but we had a few handling issues. It wasn’t for a lack of trying on my part and the bike is good, but that Triumph came past me on Sulby straight and I couldn’t even sit in its slipstream. There is no substitute for cubes, but it is what it is boy," said Martin.
