Michael Dunlop has withdrawn from this afternoon’s second Supersport TT race in order to save himself for Friday’s Senior TT.
The Ballymoney ace broke down in Monday’s first 600cc race but TT Motorsports Manager Paul Phillips confirmed this morning that Dunlop has returned home to Ballymoney to have physiotherapy on the leg injury he sustained when he crashed in Sunday’s Superbike race.
The 26-year old went down at the Nook on the final lap after hitting the fallen Scott Wilson.
