Tyco BMW’s Ian Hutchinson doubled up his fastest lap times as he was quickest in the Superstock session before also topping Superbikes with his final lap.
The Bingley man set a 128.723mph lap from a standing start to edge out Michael Rutter’s fastest flying lap by a little over two seconds as the 44-year-old Bathams/SMT rider set a 128.429 while Peter Hickman, on the GBmoto Kawasaki, was third quickest on a 127.305. Hickman and Rutter also had the fourth and fifth fastest times too.
Aussie David Johnson was the fourth fastest rider on a 125.196 with Steve Mercer fifth and William Dunlop on a 124.706.
