Silicone Kawasaki’s Dean Harrison set the quickest time in this evening’s TT 2017 Supersport practice to beat Michael Dunlop after the pair had been almost tied a lap earlier
After their first lap, Dunlop just edged out Harrison by 0.011s to lead but the Yorkshireman headed back out for another lap and stole the bragging rights.
After the pair had already done Superbike and Superstock laps, Harrison was first out and set a 123.325mph lap only for Dunlop to snick past and into top spot with a 123.325mph, which equates to less one one-hundredth of a second.
Ian Hutchinson, fastest overall with a 129.5mph lap on the Superstock BMW, set a 123.191 for third place while James Hillier was fourth with a 122.390. Peter Hickman took the Trooper beer-backed Triumph to fifth on a 121.949 lap.
Lee Johnston bagged sixth on his Honda with a 121.858 while Conor Cummins is seventh on a 121.841. Dan Kneen was on course for a top-three spot at Ramsey but slowed on the Mountain and took eighth place. Jamie Coward is ninth while William Dunlop completes the top ten.
