Martin Jessopp topped the Lightweight timesheets at the end of today’s TT 2017 practice but only has a four-tenth lead over Ivan Lintin with Peter Hickman in third place.
Jessopp put in a 116.535mph lap from a standing start and held a healthy lead until Lintin stuck in a 116.492 effort on his fourth and final to close right in on the West Country rider.
Hickman ended on a 116.239 for third place at the end of a flying lap with Dan Cooper fourth and Italian Stefano Bonetti in fifth on a 115.909. Michael Dunlop ended in sixth with Gary Johnson seventh and class newcomer Josh Brookes eighth on a 115.226.
James Cowton ended his day in ninth with Adam MacLean completing the top ten.
